 Plenary

Why do you think it is important for film makers to use camera movements in their movies?

I think its important for film makers to use camera movements to enhance and display emotions of the character or the events within a scene.

Can you link Camera movements to specific genres? Give two examples.

A stedicam can be used in horror films when a character is walking into danger or about to be approached by a scary character so we can see what they are approaching as if we are there with the character ourselves.

A flipshot can be used in an action adventure film, such as the hunger games, to show the dramatic events of the running in and out of danger. It also shows them moving from different distances and as they pass.
